Weekend Worship

 

Beloveds,

I am carrying on a blog series that I started on Proverbs 31 Jewels.  Weekends are meant for worship. Sabbath is a time of giving back worth, a time of focusing on the One who deserves our love and attention.

When we give someone our full attention, we become like what we behold 🙂 Focus on His name..study His attributes

El means Mighty, Strong, Prominent
Elohim means God( a plural noun) Creator
Genesis 1:1
El Shaddai God Almighty or God All Sufficient. Gen 17:1 Lord, God the Almighty.
Adonai Lord.. Capital L.. lower case ord. Adonai is plural. Master or Lord ,.. plural when referring to God. It is singular when referring to human.. all lower case.. YAWHEH is translated LORD GOD .. all capital letters. Primary use for Adonai communicates ownership. When we become saves, we become His. He is Lord over our lives.
Jehovah Jireh The Lord Who Provides First used in Gen 22:14. Jireh translates to see or to provide or to foresee as a prophet. God always provides.
Jehovah Nissi The Lord our Banner. Ex 17:15 God as on the battlefield. Taken from the word which means ˜to glisten ˜to lift up Psalm 4:6
Jehovah Kaddesh The Lord Who Sanctifies Lev. 20:8 To make whole, set apart for holiness
Jehovah Shalom The Lord our Peace Judges 6:24. Shalom translates peace, complete, to be made whole, fulfilled, perfected.
Jehovah Tsidknedu The Lord our Rightesouness Jer 23:5,6 From tsidek .. straight, stiff, balanced.. as on scales. Justice, right, declared innocent. God our Righteousness
Jehovah Rohi The Lord our Shepherd. Psa 23
Jehovah Shammah The Lord is There Ezek 48:35
Jehovah Sabaoth The Lord of Host. The commander of the angelic host and the armies of God. Isa 1:24
El Elyon Most High Deut 26:19
Abhir Mighty One ( to be strong) Gen 49:24
El Roi The God Who Sees ( the story of Hagar) Gen 16:13
Palet Deliverer PSa 18:2
Yeshua Savior Isa 43:3
Jesus Derived from the Hebrew name Joshua meaning Jehovah is Salvation
