When There are Tears

 …our tears are turned into joy.

  • When life gets tough, the tough get going
  • What doesn’t kill us, makes us stronger
  • Tough times create tough people

These are nice sentiments but..are they enough?

tears

Everyone struggles in life. No one is promised a rose garden, no one is immune to tears in life.  No one is immune to difficulties or hardships.  What are we to do when there are tears instead of joy. We’ve all heard :

” For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

a time to be born, and a time to die;
                  a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
                 a time to kill, and a time to heal;
                  a time to break down, and a time to build up;
             a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
                  a time to mourn, and a time to dance;”
The Holy Bible: English Standard Version  Ecc. 3:1–4.
The mark of a strong woman is not how she behaves when life is easy, but how she reacts when life gives her tears. Who does she run to: her phone or her Savior?
 “Thus says the LORD of hosts: The people of Israel are oppressed, and the people of Judah with them. All who took them captive have held them fast; they refuse to let them go. Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is his name. He will surely plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth, but unrest to the inhabitants of Babylon.
The Holy Bible: English Standard Version  Jer. 50:33–34.
We have a Redeemer!
 Every time we find life hard to handle, run to Jesus. The Bible declares  Our Redeemer is strong, He goes before us, and He will bring us rest. He turns our mourning into joy. Our King will wipe away every tear and restore our laughter.  Jesus sings over each one of us!
“The LORD your God is in your midst,
         A victorious warrior.
         He will exult over you with joy,
         He will be quiet in His love,
         He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.
                   “I will gather those who grieve about the appointed feasts—
         They came from you, O Zion;
         The reproach of exile is a burden on them.
New American Standard Bible: 1995  Zep 3:17–18.
Jesus cares for those who grieves and He will gather each one of us. He rejoices over you with shouts of joy! Jesus  is all we need, He is ENOUGH!
If there are tears, hold on for He is turning your mourning into dancing, He is restoring your joy!
With His Love,
Nancy
