Weekend Worship for March 3rd

Weekend Worship

It’s raining here. I live in Northern California and it’s wet outside. Yes, I am thinking of a very old song, ‘It never rains in California’ is strumming in my head.  It is even hailing! Believe it or not, this is exciting for us! It is beautiful! Yes,  I realize for those who live where you actually have difficult weather, you must be shaking your head at me right now 🙂 well, I  get it, and its cool.

Oh, how I love the sound. I love the smell.  It smells clean and new.  Reminds me of what is promised to come. Here is Jesus, sitting on the throne. It is Jesus who is keeping His Word to us.  “And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” (Rev. 21:5, ESV).  I love the rain. It always reminds me of freshness, newness, and beginnings.

Remembering a Giant of the faith

We are marking the passing to heaven of a mighty servant of God, we can rest in the knowledge that, just as Billy Graham said, one day we would hear of his death but in reality, he has transitioned into His reward. Jesus has made all things new. He is where he wanted to bring the multitudes to… worshipping at the feet of Jesus!

In His honor, our worship video this week is ‘Just as I am”. Jesus takes us just as we are and makes us new. Just like the rain, the hail, the storm clouds, it brings a newness of life.

I would LOVE to have you join us! Grab some coffee or tea and join our online community!
